The Many Hands Market will be held 12-4pm; early access to the market at 11:30am if you buy a Very Important Shopper (VIS) ticket.

What is DIY?

DIY stands for Do-It-Yourself. At the Many Hands Market, you can sign up for our Walk-By DIY Workshops where you can make your very own handmade goods by crafting, building, stitching, designing, decorating, sewing, painting, and so much more! Take a look at our Walk-By DIY Workshops here.

 

What are Walk-By DIY’s?

Walk-By DIY’s are Do-It-Yourself Workshops lead by qualified, talented makers. Our Walk-By DIY instructors teach you how to craft and complete a quick project that you will be proud to call your very own. The best part? You get to take your project home and be proud to say you made it yourself. We offer a variety of DIY workshops. Pick your favourites and sign up with your friends and loved ones. Do I have to pay for Walk-By DIY's?

Yes, we ask participants to pay a workshop fee. The fee covers workshop materials and the rest is donated to the Many Hands Market fundraiser. Workshop fees are different depending on which one you participate in. Take a look at our Walk-By DIY’s here.

 

What do I get with the $5 Very Important Shopper Ticket?

The Very Important Shopper Ticket allows you into the market early, at 11:30am, delicious refreshments from your favourite coffee shops including Starbucks, Coffee Culture and Mahtay Cafe, and exclusive entry into "Very Important Shopper" door prizes. Buy your VIS Tickets here. 

 

What building is the event in at Ridley College?

The event takes place in the Tigers Fieldhouse at Ridley College. 

 

 

Is the marketplace indoors?

Yes, the marketplace is indoors, and takes place in the Tigers Fieldhouse Gymnasium at Ridley

College. 

 

Where can I park?

There is free parking available in front of the Tigers Fieldhouse at Ridley College, as well as overflow parking across the street. 

 

Is parking free?

Yes, parking is free.

 

How much is admission?

General admission is a $2 donation at the door, and Very Important Shopper Tickets are $5.

 

If it rains or snows, will the event be cancelled?

The Many Hands Market will only be cancelled due to extreme weather.

I lost my Very Important Shopper Ticket (VIS), what do I do?

We keep a list of Very Important Shoppers, so please contact us and we will replace your ticket at the market.

 

What if I lose my belongings?

The Many Hands Market and Ridley College are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, however, there is a Lost & Found at the registration desk if you lose anything.
